Française des Jeux (FDJ) has signed a three-season partnership agreement with top-flight French football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
FDJ’s sports betting brands, ParionsSport en ligne and ParionsSport point de vente, will become so-called “Premium Partners” of the Ligue 1 side until 2025.
Richard Courtois, CEO of FDJ’s Sports Betting Unit, said: “We are delighted about this first partnership with Paris Saint-Germain. We are proud to team up with such a popular and successful club.
“This long-term partnership strengthens our position as a major stakeholder in sports betting in France and will enable us to share exclusive experiences with the club’s fans.
“We will activate this partnership responsibly and enthusiastically in order to reach the whole PSG and betting community.”
In their capacity as the Parisian club’s Premium Partners, ParionsSport en ligne will post exclusive content on social media, including contests to win match tickets, while ParionsSport point de vente will use its land-based reach to promote the partnership.
ParionsSport point de vente will also offer bets on select matches from inside and around PSG’s home ground, Parc des Princes. ParionsSport branding will be visible here and across PSG’s digital channels from when the new French championship season begins.
“We are delighted to welcome Française des Jeux into the Paris Saint-Germain family. FDJ is a major player in the sports betting industry,” said Marc Armstrong, Chief Partnerships Officer at PSG.
He added: “Together, we will treat our fans to ever more innovative experiences while ensuring that we promote ethical and responsible sports betting.”
