Casino Morongo has this week opened its new poker room and bingo hall, both of which are part of a recent expansion and renovation.
Located beside the 27-story Morongo Casino Resort and Spa, the Casino Morongo poker room features 20 tables for daily play and tournaments, automatic shufflers on every table and game-side dining options.
The new poker room now also offers Texas Hold’em or Omaha games; in addition, it will show all main sports games from six wall-mounted 65 inch TVs.
Richard St. Jean, Morongo COO, stated: “We’re thrilled to announce that bingo is back at Morongo, and cards are in the air in our new poker room. We’ve created two gorgeous new spaces for our poker and bingo players to enjoy; and we’re confident these new accommodations will exceed our guests’ expectations for comfort and playability.”
The new bingo hall features 250 seats alongside state-of-the-art electronic playing tablets. And as a welcome to guests, Morongo is hosting a re-opening celebration on Friday 1 April from 3pm with games scheduled to start at 6pm.
The bingo hall will be open and accessible to customers from 3pm every Wednesday to Saturday, with games starting at 6pm. On Sundays, doors open at 11am with games starting at 2pm.
During this grand opening weekend, Morongo’s poker room will be giving away $500 every hour to a random Morongo Rewards member, who is playing Texas Hold’em or Omaha from midday on Friday 1 April until midnight on Monday 4 April. In addition, double jackpot awards will be available every even hour throughout the weekend.
The extension was completed by Moorefield Construction and the project follows 2020 renovations that were undertaken on the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa. This included a remodelling of all 310 Morongo suites and guest rooms, while the expansion has given Morongo one of the largest casino floors on the West Coast.
