Kindred Group supports Swedish youth organisation

Kindred Group has continued its partnership with Swedish youth organisation, NU: Nolla Utanförskapet (End Exclusion).

The Nordic gambling group will hold a 10-week coding course for people aged 18-25 at its Stockholm office, designed to “unite and develop young adults with a mutual interest for coding.”

End Exclusion aims to help young people from underprivileged parts of the Swedish capital by providing them with education and contacts.

By working with the organisation, Kindred hopes to give young people some insight into the tech sector, as well as valuable skills and knowledge, to help them further their career goals.

Sanna Wolk, the Founder of End Exclusion, commented: “It’s amazing that we are able to run this course again together with Kindred.

“Throughout these 10 weeks, the participants will get sought-after coding skills, an insight into the tech industry and important connections. These will help them establish themselves in the job market after their studies.”

Kindred’s involvement with the organisation’s efforts dates back to 2019, when it first organised a coding course.

With its return this year, the company’s Group Head of Communications, Alexander Westrell, expressed his enthusiasm for once again being able to offer support to young people.

“When we organised this course together with NU: Nolla Utanförskapet in 2019, it was greatly appreciated by the participants, but also by the Kindred employees who volunteered to teach the young adults how to code,” remarked Westrell.

“I’m really glad we are able to host this course again and it’s great to see the desire and curiosity to learn about coding.

“Meeting these aspiring young adults, providing them with a springboard into professional life and building their confidence through sharing knowledge of coding is really positive.”
